Hey there! I’m Craig, the guy behind CraigCarsClassics. I’ve been a certified mechanic since 1979, turning wrenches and talking cars for as long as I can remember. Over the years, I’ve worked with AMC, GM, Ford, and Chrysler, gaining enough experience (and probably a few busted knuckles) to last a lifetime.

My love for cars started early—at 12 years old, I yanked my first engine, and that was it. You could say I was literally born into the industry—my grand entrance into the world happened right on the floor of a sedan delivery in Detroit. Later, I met my former wife at a gas station (because where else would a car guy find love?), and somehow, all three of our kids ended up being born at 13 Mile and Woodward. Coincidence?
